Who is Colorado 811?
As the official Colorado Underground Utility Notification Center, commonly called “Colorado 811”, and the exclusive communication link between underground utility owners and operators, and anyone planning to dig in Colorado, we provide a free, essential service keeping public underground utilities and everyone in Colorado safe while excavation occurs. Whether it’s an online request for a small backyard garden project or an emergency call to locate a ruptured gas line at 2:00 a.m., we’re here 24/7 to process underground utility location requests quickly and accurately.

Our business operations staff enjoys a hybrid work schedule composed of three work-from-home days coupled with two team collaboration focused in-office days at our Golden, Colorado office.
Operational roles keep our organization running while providing leadership and advocacy across the state, developing education programs, supporting our utility and excavator members, and more, ensuring seamless operations of our services across the company.
Our highly skilled Contact Center Agent team members primarily work from their home office to provide professional assistance to callers requesting locate ticket notifications.
Supported by comprehensive and immersive training, the Call Center Agent role is a fundamental building block of our organization as all agents are mission critical.
